Faculty develop and disseminate educational competencies and learning objectives, 设计课程, 评估学生的学习成果, 并利用结果来改善教与学. Members of the 评价、评估和研究办公室 work directly with programs to advise on these processes and tie them together across the university for efficiency, 有效性, 和团结.

SLOC partners with academic degree and certificate programs to maintain and improve student learning outcomes portfolios and assessment plans. SLOC also contributes to accreditation efforts that relate to these areas. SLOC members include representatives from all four colleges, 主要行政人员和学生.
